The AhmaDilloes

The AhmaDilloes were born in June 1997. Johnnie, Siva and Shahzad were medical students who shared a house. Johnnie was in a band and had some instruments and recording gear. Siva and Shahzad were not in a band and did not have any instruments or recording gear. Siva and Shahzad wanted to make music. The three of them decided to give it a try. Siva picked up the bass and turned out to be a natural. He only ever played it when the AhmaDilloes were writing or recording. Shahzad was not a natural musician, so he became the lead singer. Johnnie, Siva and Shahzad all contributed backing vocals.

They wrote and recorded very intermittently over the following six months (each song was recorded as it was written and then not played again) and the result was the album "the AhmaDilloes are for life not just for xmas". The album was unleashed on the public on the 18th of December 1997 at a xmas party - turkey and all the trimmings for ten cooked by the band! Sadly, soon after this the AhmaDilloes left the music industry.

This album is loved by all who have heard it. It really is without a doubt one of the best albums in the world ever - just ask Mr Siva!
