The new jc albyn complex album "the resurrection of..." was supposed to be completed last weekend, but as no-one else showed up johnnie found the tapes of the album jc albyn complex started to record in October 2004 and mixed what was on them as "The Lost Tape."

JC Albyn Complex spent the Easter weekend recording their first album in the new sPookYsounds studio. The old tapes have been abandoned again and this time there are 15 songs...

Johnnie and Alice have started work on a new album.
It will be a series of songs about the sea.
Five songs have been written and demoed in the last week so it's going well....

It's been a long time, but Adam can now use both his hands which means that jc albyn complex have restarted recording their album. They had started tracking back in Sept '03 but Adam losing the use of his left hand put a stop to it. The old tapes have been wiped and they've started again, but they're making good progress and it looks like there will be 14 tracks on the forthcoming as yet untitled album.

jc albyn complex have finished recording their second e.p. called "The Attic Tapes." They have also just started recording their first full length album on the sPookY 16-track reel-to-reel, though bassist Craig has departed to go work on a boat in the Mediteranean so they are back to being a three-piece again.

jc albyn complex are looking at gigging new material in the next month or so, Commercial Dual Purpose have come up against the sPooKy sounds jinx (things happen and recordings get delayed, a sad fact of sPooKy life) and The Third Rail live album has been compiled....

Seven weeks to go 'til Alice has her baby and it's looking doubtful that the ELEVATOR tribute album will be done before then, but we shall see. The sPrinG album is a work in progress again, jc albyn complex are practicing as a four piece again (craig from betty's clinic has joined on bass) and are currently working on new songs. Commercial Dual Purpose have recently begun working on an album at sPooKy sounds.
