This tape was johnnie's attempt at doing a Glenn Branca thing. The first part was recorded live in the big room at 208 Infirmary Road with a guitar tuned to EEEEEE in three unison pairs each an octave apart. Tracks 2 and 3 are the same as the last two tracks on "noisy love garbage".

In august 95 johnnie spent a month living in a house on his own. He hardly saw anyone and spent the entire time listening to a weird pirate radio station. For some reason that made him decide to record an album of songs made up of tape loops from the pirate radio station, tape based samples and guitars in unusual tunings. "nuclear popcorn" is that album. recorded at 174.
the band name is in tamil and means "hey! onion" - don't ask why.
